Pepperl+Fuchs VisuNet Remote Monitors (VisuNet RM) are industrial grade Thin Client solutions that provide a simplified, modern User lnterface to the Operators. The firmware of a VisuNet RM, called VisuNet RM Shell, enables the users to easily access the applications that run on a process control systems via Ethernet. With the RM Shell 4.0 DRDC License key, the EMERSON DRDC client can be enabled in the RM Shell 4.0: The EMERSON DeltaV® Remote Desktop Connection (DRDC) client allows you directly connecting to a virtualized Emerson DeltaV system from a VisuNet Remote Monitor. No addition thin clients are required in the safe area. Furthermore, all features of a VisuNet Remote Monitor (like auto-connect, connection loss detection, backup connection, etc.) can be used for a DRDC connection, which gives you the maximum reliability in your process automation application.
